Operates, monitors, and controls windows based computers and related peripheral equipment using established procedures. Monitors console or terminal, storage devices and printers, repairs issues and reports problems or variances. Reconfigure system components when individual units fail. Respond to inquiries and requests via phone and email for assistance from internal and external customers. Coordinate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve incidents. Use experience and decision trees to analyze, diagnosis, and troubleshoot computer and customer issues. Resolve issues via phone, e-mail and remote access to computer systems. Determine priority of incidents based on impact and severity of the issue and utilize the trouble reporting system to record faults and to dispatch technicians Publishes shift status reports as required Provide basic LAN/WAN support Perform hands on problem determination and report break fix issues to vendor/carrier or service technicians. Perform notification and escalation procedures for major issues and critical events Perform network configuration commands to identify, isolate and correct faults Implement network configuration changes as needed Perform software installations, repairs and updates following approved procedures Education Degree in related field and A
certification, Network
certification 4-6 years verifiable experience working in a computer support role. Progress towards CCNA, MCP or higher Cisco/Microsoft certifications desired CCNA, MCP or higher Cisco/Microsoft certifications preferred Years of Related Experience Years of experience 4 to 6 years Experience Required:
Working knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting - switches, routers and Ethernet Working knowledge of computer operating systems and troubleshooting (Windows, Windows Server) Network Operations Center or Call Center experience desired Knowledge of server architecture (Dell and HP) preferred Knowledge of Cisco and switching environment preferred Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server preferred Knowledge of Microsoft DNS/DHCP and domain environments preferred Gaming industry knowledge preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Detail oriented team player Possess exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills. Have the ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence. Above average computer and office application skills - power user level preferred Ability to support and resolve level I & II computer support issues Experience in an IT user support role or as a call center support technician for Microsoft based products. Have verifiable experience with Windows Operating systems. Able to work well independently, and as a member of a team Have the ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment. Ability to work under general supervision Must be able to obtain required regulatory gaming cards and licensing upon employment. A security investigation will be conducted. $80K -- $100K
