The purpose of this position and facility as a whole is to create memorable guest experiences with unparalleled service.
The Director of Golf will oversee the day-to-day operation of the pro shop and golf course as a whole.
Essential Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Performing opening and closing duties of the pro shop.
Operating the tee sheet and point-of-sale systems.
Coordinating all tournament, outing, and league play.
Managing and motivating pro shop and on course golf staff.
Providing highest level of customer service with a positive attitude to all members and guests either in person or on the telephone.
Serve as Membership Liaison.
Assisting in the purchase, display, control, promotion and sales of merchandise.
Maintaining awareness of daily play and course usage.
Maintaining thorough knowledge of current golf club activities.
Requirements:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Arrives to work on time and in proper look policy.
Ability to learn and adapt on the fly.
Must be pleasant, friendly, outgoing and courteous at all times to customers and fellow staff.
Must be team-oriented, positive and upbeat.
Must be detail-oriented and able to manage in a fast-paced environment.
Prior Golf Course experience is required.
Salary:
