The Customer Service Manager is accountable to the Store Manager & Front of Store Supervisor.
The areas of responsibility include all Front of Store Operations.
The Customer Service Manager's ultimate responsibility is to ensure that all front of store departments are operating smoothly and provide a comfortable, safe, and inviting atmosphere for all guests that enter our establishment.
The Customer Service Manager ensures that the front of store maintains the established standards through training new associates and communicating to associates that are currently employed.
Departments that a Customer Service Manager oversees include the following:
Cashiers Podium Self-Check-Out Customer Service Bookkeeping Scanning Cart Pushers On-Line, Pickup, Delivery (E-Commerce) Essential Job Duties:
1.
Schedules - Review weekly front of store schedules to ensure that the store is scheduled to provide adequate service to all guests at all business hours.
Ensure that all departments listed above remain compliant to the weekly and quarterly payroll budget.
2.
Customer Relations-Maintain customer relations and address any feedback that the store receives from guests.
3.
AEM / Associate Relations- Reach goal of 100% participation on AEM.
Address all associate concerns & issues as they are brought to your attention throughout the year.
4.
Reporting- Review reports assigned to the CSM.
Reports include Lanehawk, Department Key, Daily Refund, Over/Short, and Budget Reports.
5.
Trouble shooting- Ability to learn how to trouble shoot all front end and courtesy equipment.
6.
Training- Oversee front end training program and ensure that new associates are trained properly and set up for success.
7.
Safety/ QA- Safety is Village ShopRite's number 1 priority.
The Customer Service Manager is to ensure that conditions on the front end are safe and clean.
8.
Hiring- Determine what workforce is needed in each department through communicating with department managers and other Assistant Store Managers.
Review applications on Workforce Acquisition and schedule interviews for employment.
9.
Village Community Programs- Organize and lead in all donation efforts.
10.
Village Authorization Requests- Send requests as needed to retail services for authorization of applications for store associates.
11.
Uniform guidelines- Order uniforms for associates as needed 12.
Gift Cards- Make sure displays on front end are full and inventory is maintained.
Merchandise all promotion and verify POS signs are displayed with each promotion.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
