Responsibilities:
Provide passengers with and elevated level of professional service and assistance, including but not limited to hotel information, directions to local attractions, transportation services, and flight information.
Meet, greet, and assist passengers arriving, departing and all other Customer Service touch points at ACY with a positive and friendly attitude.
Answer and log all Customer Service telephone calls in a timely and professional manner.
Provide Lost & Found services including maintaining a logbook and adhering to procedures in place for services.
Resolve customer issues on site with clear, supportive communication to ensure passenger experience remains positive.
When necessary; provide wheelchairs to the disabled, queue airline passenger lines, and help at airline kiosk areas.
Monitor baggage delivery times.
Ability to handle distressed passengers with a smile and always be sympathetic and courteous.
Receive assignments, tasks, and training with an open mind to create a positive, team oriented working atmosphere.
Relief support for administration staff including reception desk.
Uphold policies and procedures outlined in the TBI employee handbook.
All Customer Service Representatives will be listed as Essential Employees at ACY.
Performs other assignments and tasks as required and directed by the General Manager.
Job Skills &
Qualifications:
Required Graduation from a four-year high school, or equivalent.
Two-years' experience in Customer Service Required to operate computer, must be knowledgeable in Word and Excel programs.
Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Preferred Knowledge of both general aviation and commercial airport activities.
Ability to:
Work indoors and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Carry 10-20 lbs.
of office material as needed.
Work in an environment that has occasional loud noises.
Physical & Medical Requirements:
Ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required of a position in this class.
