8K a year POSITION SUMMARY The Driver transports patients from home to oncology treatment sites via the Medical Oncology Infusion Services/Cancer Center van.
The Driver operates the van according to all established laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
This position dispatches and develops routes as needed.
The Driver assists in developing quality assurance studies based on customer service as well as departmental policy and procedures.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.
Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Valid New Jersey driver's license with no violation points required.
Commercial Driver's License preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience driving a van preferred.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury.
Requires the ability to sit and drive a majority of the time and requires frequent bending and stooping.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP This position reports to the Administrative Director Radiation Oncology.
