Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answer the telephone, remembering that the client is the No. 1 focus of the company and they are not an interruption to other tasks. Be very courteous during ANY interaction with the company's clients.
Ensure that each telephone call is answered before the third ring and that the approved company greeting and script is used each time.
Good communication with the client is essential! Make sure that taking care of the clients is a higher priority than any other task, and that the clients are enthusiastic about how they are treated. Have a courteous and pleasant demeanor whether or not on a phone call.
Make outbound calls and schedule appointments as needed to make up for any shortfall of repair calls. Performing the budgeted number of service and repair calls each day is critical.
Manage the dispatching of all service and scheduled service calls to ensure maximum efficiency of scheduling without compromising client satisfaction and honoring our on-time commitment.
Notify clients ahead of time without fail if the electrician is not going to arrive at their home within the scheduled time window and re-scheduling the time at the client's convenience.
Debrief electricians after each call and insist that all employees collect payment immediately after each job is completed.
Issue purchase orders and properly designate costs to each department. Purchase order status must be kept current at all times and must be properly marked as to which department they should be charged to.
Arrange for efficient deliveries of parts and equipment to electricians. An electrician should go to a supply house only as a last resort.
Adhere to purchase order system, proper purchasing and inventory procedures at all times and keep the inventory database current and accurate.
Replenish truck stock using the Electrician Restocking System so that electricians never make unnecessary trips for stocking. Plan parts replenishment around their work schedule.
Collect and archive all key performance and statistical data as required by the General Manager.
Assist the General Manager to hit monthly budgeted revenue.
Learn and assist others on the effective use of Successware, the company's software package.
Manage company assets such as vehicles, information systems, and communication systems.
Obey, teach, and enforce the Mister Sparky Code of Ethics, Team Rules and Team Philosophy.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
