Description Description Established Atlantic County Business that deals in office supplies, seeks Copier/Printer Service Technician person, Must have 10 years Previous work experience, 1 to 3 years Related office products (Ricoh products) Requirements Training : Education High School Diploma equivalent. Formal electricians training Preferred: BS or vocational trade related education. Responsibilities The role of the Service Technician is to answer questions for customers and in-house personnel. In an effort to resolve technical problems, the technical staff must handle copier equipment service repairs including copiers, fax machines, printers, computer equipment, etc. The use of conversational, analytical and observational skills which demonstrate an ability to organize, and prioritize service repairs. Valid driver's license for the state of New Jersey. Ability to lift and carry machines The main responsibilities of the Service Technician are as follows: Deliver, install and repair copier equipment. Assist Service Manager as needed. Ask/Answer questions and resolves problems of customers regarding copier machines. Test returned equipment for defects. Test all copier operations and show a sample to the customer to confirm the machine functions correctly. Communicate all equipment parts that need to be returned to the equipment vendor to the Service Manager. Communicate any parts that are low in inventory to the Service Manager. Check customer history and ask the customer if the equipment needs supplies. Complete appropriate documents for the Service Department. Call in the status of service repairs to the Service Coordinator/Dispatcher. Be courteous, professional, and friendly while in the customer's office. When assigned a service call over the telephone, it is useful and practical to accept the call without comment on the nature or character of the customer involved. Since every reasonable effort is being made to assign work in practical and sensible ways, employees are asked to be cooperative and to accept work assignments cheerfully. Read and have a comprehensive understanding of all service manuals and related information on the copiers that you service. Call the Service Coordinator/Dispatcher to contact the Service Manager after approximately 20 to 30 minutes has been spent trying to locate a problem on a copier, (with using the manual) and the problem still can't be located or fixed. The Service Manager will call back the Service Technician at the customer's office and advise. Assist in moving supplies, (paper and toner, etc.) and copiers in the office and warehouse areas and off of truck when asked. Any other work-related function which is required to promote the growth of companies products. Company offers competitive Salary 35K to 45K+ D.O.E. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
