Job Description:
General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an individual to join our innovative company in the role of Program Control Analyst. This candidate must have Government Contracting experience providing proactive financial and program control for different types of contracts and have the ability to meet deadlines in an efficient and effective manner.
This role will be located in either our Virginia Beach office OR our Egg Harbor Township, NJ office
- PCO/Finance Analyst for DOD contracts
- Prepare Contract deliverables within deadlines
- Assist Subcontracts department with the subcontractor financial requirements
- Interface with all functional departments (both F&A and technical) to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are being met
- Review and approve contract expense reports
- Monthly Financial Reporting and Forecasting (LCFs, CFSRs, Accruals, etc)
- Participate in monthly Budget vs Actuals Analysis - Participate in Business Area Annual Budget and Mid-Year Forecast cycles
- Weekly and Monthly Billed & Unbilled Receivables Analysis
- Prepare and coordinate inter-company work orders (IWOs) with other divisions, as needed
- Proactive analysis of contract financials with the goal of revenue and margin maximization in coordination with contractual requirements
- Review and reconcile internal invoices to customer
- Reconcile and code invoices from subcontractors/suppliers
- Identify and resolve financial transaction problems
- Other various Financial Analysis/Reporting as required
Additional Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of Excel
- Knowledge of CostPoint, Deltek, Cognos Impromptu is a plus
- Working knowledge of CAS and FAR, Other Qualifications
- Government contracting experience
- Excellent organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Educational Requirement:
- BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or associated discipline + Minimum of 3 years related experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
