This job opportunity is for a Surface Maintenance Repairer position, position description D1398000, within the 177th Maintenance Operations Flight of the New Jersey National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position.
Its purpose is to supervise and manage logistics functions consisting of the Maintenance Operations Center; Plans, Scheduling and Documentation, Engine Management, Training, Programs and Mobility; and Production Analysis/Data Base Management.

### Responsibilities
As a Supervisory Production Controller, GS-1152-11 you may be expected to accomplish the following:
Coordinate timely development of weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance plans, flying schedules, and documentation of historical data
Supervise and direct utilization of branch personnel.
Review reports and statistical data from subordinate functions and other sources for the purpose of evaluating overall maintenance program statuses
Ensure maintenance data base support for all maintenance functions
Ensure engine management responsibilities are accomplished in accordance with applicable directives

Compatible Military Assignments: 21AX, 2A5X1, 2A5X4, 2A6XX, 2A8X1, 2A8X1C, 2A8X1E, 2A8X2C, 2A8X2E
Selectees have two (2) years to obtain a required AFSC
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. If you are not sure you are eligible for military membership, please contact a National Guard recruiter prior to applying for this position.

General Experience :
Experience, education or training which indicates the candidate can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, understanding the terminology and data pertaining to repair operations and process characteristics of the production activity.
Specialized Experience :
Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training in the following:
Computations of cost data on labor and materials, buying materials or reviewing data with respect to man-hours, machine time, materials consumed, etc.
Experience with current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.
Experience in supervising subordinate personnel, establishing work priorities, overseeing work in progress.
