Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic

As a Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12/13, you will:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integrated systems Maintain, modify, calibrate, and inspect a wide variety of user test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment Troubleshoot operational malfunctions and analyze system performance utilizing aircrew debrief data, Technical Orders, schematic and wiring diagrams. Recommend methods to improve equipment performance, technical data, and maintenance procedures Apply technical data and equipment specifications to determine the impact that equipment modifications or substitutions will have upon integrated multi-system operations and various maintenance alignment procedures. GENERAL EXPERIENCE Must have the following experiences:
Applying electronic theories and practices Isolating and repairing malfunctions Interpreting error data and tracing back through a number of units of the system to locate deficiencies Applying principles of digital and analog circuits Using electro-mechanical devices, and solid state devices Understanding digital techniques, synchro/servo operation and integrated circuit theory Interpreting and tracing schematics Applying logic and wiring diagrams Operating a wide variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE Must have 18 months of the following experiences:
Utilizing principles, basic functions and application of theory of electronic integrated systems equipment. Diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic integrated systems equipment. Making mechanical repairs that required the use of precision measuring and calibrating equipment. Using a wide variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE). Interpreting technical manuals, specifications, and publications.
