Physical Security Specialist
As an Physical Security Specialist, GS-0080-9, you may be expected to accomplish the following:
Report and document all IDS maintenance requirements to the servicing maintenance organization Develop local training for system operators Produce and maintain related reports for command echelon personnel Research, interpret, and analyze guidelines to ensure all work complies with legal and regulatory requirements Develop goals and objectives that integrate organization and squadron objectives Administer and manage Resource Protection and Crime Prevention programs In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Following directions, reading, understanding, and retaining a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures. 12 months experience in the security career field; Technical training schools and drill-status working experience. Security Forces and Intelligence training experiences are not required for individuals performing Chief of information Protection duties/responsibilities; Specialized Experience Must have 24 months of the following experience(s):
Maintaining and using Technical Orders and commercial manuals Assisting in the development of local training for system operators Managing and administering the physical access control systems. Working on entry control points and related applications Working with the functional and operational sustainment of data processing programs Writing or maintaining related data processing reports Researching, interpreting, and/or analyzing guidelines Performing administrative office support functions Developing localized Security Forces policies and procedures. Installing entry controls, visitor center operations, and special functions Performing and enforcing Security Forces duties
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
