As an Flight Services Specialist, GS-2101-9, you will:
Recommend revision and/or changes to flight plans as appropriate. Provide taxi, run-up, and takeoff information. Brief Notices to Airmen (NOTAMS) as required prior to all flights. Provide flight following as required on all flight plans. Evaluate seriousness of incidents and notify proper agencies. Coordinate local drop zone activities with base flying units and Air Traffic Control agencies. Process reports of adverse public reactions in accordance with applicable directives. Interpreting, explaining, and/or applying a variety of regulations and procedures Using computers and automation systems Specialized Experience Must have 24 months of the following experience(s):
Arranging or procuring transportation for personnel, cargo or freight Pre and post auditing of freight bills, bills of lading, and personnel transportation vouchers Coordinating and negotiating with organizations/personnel both orally and in writing to resolve differences/problems Supervising and managing personnel (for Supervisory Positions)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
