As an Aircraft Ordnance Systems Mechanic Leader, WL-6652-11, you will:
Coordinate and work with weapon system mechanics and specialists performing journey level work. Check work in progress and/or upon completion for compliance with supervisor's instructions, appropriate technical orders, etc. Provide direction and advice to resolve problems on aircraft ordnance and electronic systems on fighter aircraft. provide functional planning for the flight line maintenance activities. Must have the following experience(s):
Completing Ordnance Equipment Mechanical work Leading other technicians engaged in Ordnance Equipment Mechanical duties Specialized
Experience:
Must have 24 months of the following experiences(s):
Planning and layout of repair sequence Completing modification, repair and installation of ordnance systems Diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions and determining remedy where complex relationships exist Using hand tools and a limited number of measuring equipment Using a variety of test equipment Interpreting technical directions, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's specifications. In addition to the journeyman level knowledge above, do you also have the following experience(s)? Planning, organizing, and leading the work of others in fields directly related to the repair function of Ordnance Equipment Mechanics Performing administrative functions Reading and interpreting a variety of technical publications used in the repair of supported equipment Providing guidance to others in work related to Ordnance Equipment Mechanics.
