As an Aircraft Survival Flight Equipment Repairer, WG-4818-11, you will:
Plan and lay out work to be accomplished in the shop which is then completed by the ncumbent and lower graded worker Devise and maintain all program plans and records, performs surveillance and troubleshooting, and determines maintenance/repair procedures to be utilized Perform the full range of journey level work of the shop Utilize knowledge and skills of the journey level as well as those required to plan, accomplish, and maintain a functional shop maintenance program. Experience:
Must have the following experiences:
Using Materials and equipment (helmets, torso harness assemblies, parachutes, survival equipment) Understanding written instructions Using reference materials and manuals Specialized
Experience:
Must have 18 months of the following experiences:
Aviation life support equipment Reading and interpreting military manuals Supply procedures and property accountability Collecting information and presenting it to various sized groups Planning a functional shop maintenance program is essential
