As an Self-Assessment Monitor, GS-1801-9, you will:
Serve as Wing Self-Assessment Program Manager (SAPM) and Management Internal Control Toolset Lead. Perform analysis of unit self-assessed capabilities versus inspection requirements to build inspection sampling strategies Train WIT members on how to derive data and validate MICT inputs during inspections Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with ANG/IG, NGB staffs, MAJCOM staffs, State IGs, and wing leadership General
Experience:
Must have the following experience(s); Knowledge of inspection and investigative principles, applicable federal laws and regulations. Perform a variety of inspections and investigations concerning complaints of favoritism and retaliation To advise unit commanders and others on corrective actions. Specialized
Experience:
Must have 24 months of the following experience(s); Provide feedback to functional managers on checklist quality Comply information from the Management Internal Control Toolset

    $55,722 to $72,435 per year

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
